We invested in Playtomic at a point where the platform was becoming a core piece of infrastructure within the global padel ecosystem.

Today, Playtomic plays a central role in the global development of padel and racket sports. With a highly scalable platform, the business is poised for further international expansion and an even more prominent role as the software backbone of a growing global sport.

Building Padel in the US

Since entering, Playtomic has rapidly established itself as the leading software platform for US padel operators, attaining an estimated 80% market share. Its early commitment to the US coincided with an explosive phase of growth, as new clubs opened across Florida, Texas, California and the Northeast.

As padel transitions from niche to mainstream in the US, Playtomic’s platform has become the infrastructure of choice for operators positioning itself firmly at the heart of one of the fastest-growing padel markets globally.

Seizing the Gym opportunity

As padel venues continue to expand, many now combine courts with gym and fitness facilities. Playtomic recognised early that operators needed a single system to manage memberships, bookings and payments across both.

By extending its platform to integrate gym functionality alongside court management, Playtomic has strengthened its role as core infrastructure for modern racket sports clubs - supporting them as they evolve health & fitness leisure hubs.

Bespoke Experiences with Heineken

In December 2025, Playtomic entered a global brand partnership with Heineken. The collaboration is centred on one of Playtomics most popular features: open matches.

The 'Open Matches by Heineken 0.0' initiative has specifically been designed to connect players who have not met before and turn each match into a shared experience, rather than a simple booking.
